DIY: Make your own bath salts!

Do you want to enjoy your bubble bath with aromatic and relaxing salts, but you avoid them because they are expensive? If yes, then you only have to create them on your own! The process very simple..


What you will need: 
  • 1/2 cup coarse sea salt, 
  • 3/4 cup Epsom salts you find in drugstores, 
  • 1/4 cup baking soda, 
  • 8 drops essential oil
  • food coloring.
Procedure:
In a large bowl, mix the coarse salt, the Epsom salt  to soothe the tired muscles, and baking soda to relieve skin irritation. Finally add a few drops of essential oils and optionally put food coloring in order to take your bath salts a beautiful colour.

Extra Tip: In fact if you put a nice package you can make and gift!


Choose your favourite essential oil:

Cedarwood: Decongesting respiratory herb for colds and flu, transportive scent for meditation and introspection.

Eucalyptus: Decongestant oil for respiratory congestion, colds and flu, sinusitis, asthma, etc. Anti-inflammatory for pain, arthritis, muscle aches, spasms and tension.

Peppermint: Cooling and refreshing qualities clear the mind, cools the body, relieves headaches and deters nausea.

Rosemary: Stimulates circulation and digestion, anti-inflammatory property relieves muscle aches and pains.

Wintergreen: Strong anti-inflammatory and pain remedy for sore muscles, arthritis, sprains, strains and other injuries.
